If you’re considering a career in teaching or an education-related field, this is a great opportunity for you. As a part of a small team, you will develop materials and lesson plans to support engaging, activity-based learning in K-12 math and language arts classes. 

Successful candidates will:

We are seeking interns who are organized, independent, and passionate about student-centered learning 

  • Have a working understanding of current trends and research in education

  • The desire or interest to pursue a career in education, preferably in the math sphere

  • Support our company’s mission by developing educational materials for classroom and professional development purposes which may include: lesson plans, assessments, graphic organizers, manuals, slideshows, and videos

Interns will participate in a 3-month internship, completing 10-15 hours per week. Applicants must be available to work two days per week at our Jersey City headquarters. Additional hours may be completed on-site or remotely. Check with your college’s career services office regarding procedures for receiving academic credit. Please note that this is an unpaid internship!

Requirements:

  • Coursework in education or experience working in a school are strongly preferred

  • Must be punctual and organized

  • Be capable of working both independently and collaboratively

  • Should be proficient in technology and have experience using G-Suite

  • Must follow through on their commitments

  • Have a willingness to learn new things and be an effective communicator

  • Ideal candidates are looking for school credit. Education majors or related fields are preferred

This internship focuses on how digital marketing can help businesses communicate their value propositions to potential clients. If you’re very comfortable with technology and interested in learning more about e-mail marketing, web analytics, and other digital marketing tools, this internship is perfect for you.

You’ll learn what it takes to build a business from the ground up in an extremely hands-on experience. Your contributions will assist in creating brand awareness to increase revenue, reach, and repeat customers.

Successful candidates will:

We are seeking interns who are organized, independent, and passionate about the promise of digital marketing.

  • Learn the principles of internet marketing as a part of a small team

  • Contribute to a range of projects, including e-mail and social media marketing, customer relationship management, web analytics, and more

  • Learn to use digital marketing tools such as WordPress, MailChimp, G-suite and Agile CRM.

  • Work with the team to cultivate community engagement, build our audience, and track the impact of our initiatives as well as additional key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Connect with education influencers and industry professionals 

Interns will participate in a 3-month internship, completing 10-15 hours per week. Applicants must be available to work two days per week at our Jersey City headquarters (ideally Monday and Thursday). Additional hours may be completed on-site or remotely. Check with your college’s career services office regarding procedures for receiving academic credit. Please note that this is an unpaid internship! All Digital Marketing candidates must include a PDF of their resume and cover letter in order to be considered.

Every day, Room to Discover is reaching new students, new teachers, and new schools. We are currently expanding our school support and back office support teams.

School Support: If you are passionate about high quality student-centered learning, and have a minimum of 5 years experience as a classroom teacher in language arts, math, technology, or special education, we need you on our growing team. We are currently hiring consultants and presenters to provide on-site support in the New York metro area, as well as remote consultants to provide online instructional coaching.

Back Office: As our consultants share their expertise in the field, our internal team keeps the back office running like a well-oiled machine. If you have a passion for entrepreneurship and want to get in on the ground floor, our growing team needs your expertise in sales, marketing, operations, and human resources.
