Educational Coaching for Families

A Systematic Alternative to Tutoring

Educational coaching is a systematic alternative to tutoring. Instead of helping students with their homework, we help you create plans for long-term success.

Whether you are adjusting to school-provided remote learning or taking a homeschool/pod approach, our coaches will help your family identify and achieve your educational goals.

What is Educational Coaching?

Educational coaches focus on the long-term success of your child or homeschool initiative.

Traditional tutors can be helpful in supporting short term goals, such as completing homework or passing a quiz.

Our alternative to tutoring supports long-term success. We start by understanding your family’s needs. We work with you to identify your goals. And we provide the resources and support to help you achieve them.

Online Learning

Get the most from a school-provided online learning program, or develop your own alternative.

Planning

Find supplemental resources, create personal learning plans and design custom curriculum.

Practices

Learn organization, study skills, and motivational strategies for effective learning.

Assessment

To plan for success, we’ll help you better understand and prioritize your unique needs.

Parent satisfied with educational coaching as an alternative to tutoring

Learning became an entirely new experience. my son used to come home with worksheets filled with repetitive math algorithms. And studying for tests was becoming more and more tedious. However, after working with Jeff, my son was working more independently and learning through exploration.

Between the personalized learning on Khan Academy and project-based activities, like making videos to demonstrate visual models, my son really embraced math. This approach helped him to fully understand the meaning of numbers.
