  1. Kendra D.

Connection to the standards and the explicit use of the representations to unpack them. Jeff is very knowledgeable and his articulation of the standards and how he connects them to the three vehicles was clearly organized. He made connections to mathematical reasoning which is sometimes overlooked by classroom teachers.

  2. Michael

Good use of the Coherence Map.

  3. Marcelle

I liked being able to work with my grade level to reflect on what standards were useful.

  4. Shannon

How we can use project based learning for students to understand the “why” in the big picture.

  5. Victoria

Working with both heterogeneous and homogenous groups to complete problems!

  6. Jackie

Very thought provoking and engaging. I really enjoyed the Achieve coherence map.

  7. Manju

Group activities is always a plus.

  8. Nancy

I really like the inquiry based project. The PDs were informative and interactive. Very engaging.

  9. Helen Lee

I liked iCORE and the organization of the standards.

  10. Kanika

Achieve the Gap is a great tool for extension of activities and prior formative assessments when teaching a standard.

  11. Lissette

Working together being more familiar with the coherence map. It’s fun!

  12. Kimberly

Having us experience what the students would experience by completing the google slides.

  13. Aparajita

I really helped me how to work virtually on a project.

  14. Michelle-Anne Spring

I really liked being able to experience the activities for myself. This workshop is a game-changer! It will challenge how you currently think about curriculum and instructional design and then bring you to new realizations that will revolutionize your instructional practices. It’s a complete paradigm shift!

  15. Michael Braverman

Understanding the theory and practice of incorporating Common Core strategies with engaging activities is helpful when designing activities and adjustments designed to supplement student learning loss during the pandemic (as well as for other reasons).

  16. Victoria Allen

Jeff was able to help with the curriculum that what we were currently working on and the needs that had to be met before the school year began.
